Well, I started 2025 with the flu and somehow I still have it 5 weeks later, not the best start to the year... Nevertheless, I have filled the kiln with pots for their final glaze firing a few weeks earlier than I expected, nothing can stop me from making!
That means next week will be the big re-stock so keep your eyes peeled!
I've decided to experiment with how I decorate and fire my pottery. I'm currently researching lots of recipes for glazes. In a few months, I am going to make some and test out high-fire glazing. I will still make my slip-stain pots as I love combining my illustrations with my pottery, however, I'd love to try something new and make an array of different pots.
I've been working on some lovely illustration commissions behind the scenes, which I can't share yet but hopefully, I can in the near future.
I've also been working on a little Valentine's card design that I completely forgot to launch last week. It may be a little last minute but that will be up on my website tomorrow. I will also have some heart-themed pottery next week if you're a bit of a last minuter like me!
