Time is really flying by this year! Yet again, I have not gotten around to writing a blog post until the end of the month. It has officially now been a WHOLE YEAR since I started making butter dishes with your dogs showcased on top. Although I'm very much missing having a wheel and making mugs, bowls and other crockery, these butter dishes have certainly kept me busy!

My style has definitely evolved since I first started making these dogs. I feel like I'm now much more familiar with dog anatomy! I've also been adjusting my kiln programming to get the colours to all work in harmony with one another, which has proved challenging but is definitely getting better each time.

I'm particularly proud of the dogs from my recent batch. I'm really enjoying making such a wide variety of breeds. It's always exciting seeing a breed I've not made before on my waiting list! This past month, I made a Huntaway, which I hadn't ever made before.
