Just a little update this month as I'm still 'on the sick' after being hospitalised for an neurological auto-immune condition attack which has damaged my spinal cord. I attempted to return to working a few hours at my studio last week, but it was a little too much too soon. I am still on medication at home with much reduced mobility. I am also still suffering with chronic fatigue & pain. These things have all been difficult to come to terms with as someone who has always had high drive and ambitions, slowing down has been my biggest challenge yet. My body simply cannot keep up with my goals and plans I had for this year. Therefore, everything must remain on 'pause'.
However, I have been drawing from home when I have the energy to do so. As you can probably guess, lots of dogs. I am going to try and make some of my drawings into finished illustrations and produce them as prints and coasters to sell from my web shop. I also plan to do a re-stock of my 'old work': my landscape based illustration prints and coasters.
As I haven't been able to produce new work, I am now relying entirely on my web shop sales as my income. Unfortunately, there is no sick pay for the self-employed and I've been struggling to find any financial aid whilst in this 'limbo' period of waiting for test results and an official diagnosis. I truly appreciate any sale no matter how small and if you'd like to request some of my 'old work' to return, please get in touch via email, Facebook or Instagram to let me know, I will do my best to bring back popular old favourites.
Thank you for taking the time to read and if you'd like to support me for free: Please share my work or tell a friend who may be interested :)
